After two years of modifying out Bowl-A-Thon, it was such a relief to get back to “normal” this year.

We had 30 teams comprised of co-workers, family, and friends who collected donations to benefit our mentoring programs and came out to bowl with us! In addition, we had over 50 local businesses and individuals who sponsored the event by donating money, goods, or services to help make the event such a success!

Although we still have donations coming in and some expenses to pay, we estimate that the event raised nearly $16,000!

Every penny raised stays right here in Lawrence County and supports vital aspects of our program including volunteer recruitment, screening, and training, activities for our matches, and professional support of the mentoring relationships as they develop and grow.

Given the isolation and uncertainty we have all faced over the last few years, relationships are more important than ever. We remain focused on Cray’s Mission, which is to “Make Life Better For Kids”, and our mentoring program could not do it without the support of our community.
