The holiday season will soon be upon us.  As I am writing and looking out the window, I see a beautiful white landscape.  It seems too early for snow, but a new season is here.

A cloud has been hanging over this community for the past few years.  It has been tough on a lot of people and few have escaped unscathed.  When times are tough, we are forced to evaluate our priorities and decide what is really important to us.  This is the silver lining in all of this.  Don’t you have when people say things like that when you are still in the middle of it!

Cray, along with many others, is in the process of looing at our community from this perspective and asking ourselves, “What is really important? What kind of community do we want to create?”  I think the silver lining to our struggles is that we realize the time for change and action is here…and it is up to us to make it happen.

I have been involved in many interesting and encouraging conversaitns in the past year.  Our community is still rich in many ways.  There are so many talented people who want to make life better here and momentum is beginning to build to make it a reality.

I see signs of hope all around.  The cloud is lifting and a new season for our community is beginning to emerge.  Indeed a new season is here!

Thank you all for your continued support and best wishes for a happy, healthy, and joyous holiday season from everyone here at Cray!
