crossroads

This program of Cray is an after-school and summer treatment program for youth, ages 5-17, who are at-risk for being removed from their home or have been released from placement, but continue to need ongoing structure.  We provide individual and group therapy, study and social skills training, and recreation.  Students in this program may also receive Aggression Replacement Training. Crossroads counselors meet weekly with parents and school representatives to evaluate progress.  The program has a 90% success rate in keeping children with their caregivers and significantly improving home conditions.

Children involved with the Crossroads program are referred through Lawrence County Children and Youth Services.

Home-Based Parent Training

Home-Based Parent Training provides education and counseling to parents whose children are at risk for out-of-home placement. The length of the service is determined on a case-by-case basis. Referrals are made through Lawrence County Children and Youth Services.
