Fall is a great time for BBBS!  Our four after school programs got started in September, and it has been great to watch the High School Bigs and their littles get closer and closer.  Each of these programs enjoyed fun Halloween parties which included decorating pumpkins, Halloween games, and of course, candy!

Our KD Campus program at Westminster is also off to a great start this school year.  What a wonderful opportunity for our littles to experience what college is like!

Finally, our community matches and some of our waiting littles have participated in fun activities that would not have been possible without the generosity of our community.  In September, Bob and Donna Hoskins hosted the annual horseback riding activity for our program and BBBS of Butler County at their farm in Grove City.  In October, we had our annual Halloween Hayride and party at our Board Chairman Chip Rickenbach’s home.  He and his wife Sally always pull out all of the stops to make sure the kids have an awesome experience.

We would also like to thank Eugene Shiderly for donating his time and his tractor to take all of the matches on a beautiful hayride through Mount Jackson, as he does every year!  Some of the kids we have had in the program for a long time have come to see these things as traditions, and we are really excited to be alongside of them as they are making memories!
