“Too Legit To Split – Back to the 90’s” Bowl – A –Thon to benefit Cray’s Mentoring Programs held April
29 th .

The 29 th Annual Bowl-A-thon t benefit 1-to-1 Mentoring Lawrence County and Compeer Youth Lawrence County, both mentoring programs from Cray, was a “Legit” success!

The event raised approximately $20,000, which is 20% of the mentoring programs’ annual budget. The programs rely on grants and donations to provide services, and 100% of the proceeds from the event stay in Lawrence County to fund volunteer recruitment, screening and training, child and family screening and orientation, and
activities for our mentoring matches.

Pizza Joe’s, Sheetz, Giant Eagle, Walmart, and Attorney Dallas Hartman donated the food and beverages for the event.

DJ Johnny D made it his mission to keep the music “Totally 90’s” and kept the party going all day long!

Robin Mudrey donated her caricature drawing talent, and helped bowlers create fun memories of the day. The duck pond game was a big hit with the little bowlers!

A huge thank you to Suzanne, Lauren, and Emily, Jen and Angel for your willingness to help with the duck pond,
taking pictures, and keeping the party going!

As usual, Daystar Marketing did a phenomenal job with the T-shirts and signage for the event, and our friends at Colonial Lanes kept things running smoothly-
even during our first ever Bowl-A-Thon power outage!

Our Mentoring Program Director would like to extend a huge thank you to the 1-to-1 Mentoring and Compeer Youth Advisory Board for all of the work you put into the event- from planning to execution, from recruiting teams to gathering donations- you are all so appreciated.

Thank you also to our bowlers- we had mentors and mentees, local businesses, agencies, churches, families, and friends come together to support our cause and make memories together.
