Juvenile Justice Community Services Program

The Juvenile Justice/Children and Youth Community Services Program is operated by Cray Youth and Family Services, Inc. and developed in collaboration with the Lawrence County Juvenile Probation Department.  The purpose of this program is to provide support to this county agency by providing assistance to the children and families they serve in the completion of their service or goal plans. This service provides aid to the Lawrence County Juvenile Probation Department by providing a resource for holding juvenile offenders accountable for their offenses while at the same time developing competencies through productive activity, that will enable youth referred to become responsible and productive members of the community. This service also includes limited transportation to assist Lawrence County Juvenile Probation in making sure the children and families referred attend scheduled check-ins and meetings/appointments necessary for the successful completion of their terms of probation.
