handsThe HOMEBUILDERS program is an evidence based, highly intensive in-home service designed to intervene at the moment of crisis with those families who are at imminent risk of losing their children to placement.  The goal is to work with the family to remove the factors that are necessitating out of home placement rather than removing the child.  Service to families is provided by a single therapist so the family can build a relationship with a single, primary individual with whom the families develop trust and rely on for support and assistance during their time of crisis.

Youth in this program are referred through Lawrence County Children and Youth Services and Lawrence County Juvenile Probation.
